Hello my name is Cherrae. It took a lot for me to create this page because I’d rather try my hardest to handle things myself.But I unfortunately am running out of options and ideas. I’m a single mom to an 11year old boy who needs surgery to remove a cyst that has continued to grow in his bone.

In 2022 my son had an arm fracture, that we found out was caused by a cyst. His fracture was was tended to and healed and he was cleared from his doctors. In 2023 the cyst grew back. This time causing his bone to break, just by throwing a football. So we knew we had to do more . Surgery was the only resolution. In 2024 he had arm surgery. They punctured holes in his bone and they filled his bone with steroids that would make the dense bone area strong again. The cyst became so small and everything was healing correctly. My son was eventually cleared from his doctor and we thought that nightmare was behind us. He got back on the field and dedicated all of his time training for football something he loves but had no choice but to miss out on.

Recently his arm started hurting again and we discovered that the cyst grew back. My son walked out of the doctors office in tears heartbroken ! He will have to have surgery again. This time more invasive more significant. This time they’ll have to drill a hole in his bone scrape the lining of the cysts and fill it with bone graft. Leaving it alone is just ticking time bomb of when his arm will eventually break. With it being more intense it’s more expensive. I’m moving my bills around extending payments, but it’s still a struggle to cover his surgery cost, even with insurance. I’m grateful for any help.
