My son (Julian Silva) is only 28 years old, and since July 2025, he has been bravely battling Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC).From the very beginning, his journey has been incredibly challenging. Due to serious complications, he is not a candidate for traditional chemotherapy or immunotherapy. Due to the cancer complications , he is now battling with Transverse Myelitis (TM), MOG (both antibody disease), neutropenia, and bone marrow failure. These conditions have made his fight even more complex and have significantly limited his treatment options. Despite everything, my son continues to fight with strength and courage every single day.

As his mother, I am doing everything I can to help him. However, the financial burden has become overwhelming. We travel approximately eight hours each way from our home to Houston, Texas, for his care at MD Anderson Cancer Center. The costs of travel, lodging, food, and ongoing medical care continue to add up quickly. At this point, we are urgently seeking alternative treatment at Envita Medical Center in Arizona. This specialized treatment is personalized to his condition and offers hope where traditional options are no longer possible. Unfortunately, it is not covered by insurance. The expenses for treatment, doctors’ visits, labs, testing, and personalized care are significant. In addition, we must cover travel and lodging from Texas to Arizona.

My son is a fighter, and he deserves every chance to keep fighting. I will continue to stand by his side, hold his hand, and do everything in my power to find a treatment that can help him. Desde el principio, su camino ha sido increíblemente difícil. Debido a complicaciones serias, no es candidato para quimioterapia ni inmunoterapia tradicionales. A causa de las complicaciones del cáncer, ahora también enfrenta mielitis transversa (TM) y MOG enfermedad por anticuerpos, neutropenia y falla de la médula ósea. Todas estas condiciones han hecho su lucha aún más compleja y han limitado significativamente sus opciones de tratamiento. A pesar de todo, mi hijo continúa luchando con una fuerza y un valor admirables cada día. Como madre, estoy haciendo todo lo posible para ayudarlo. Sin embargo, la carga económica se ha vuelto abrumadora. Viajamos aproximadamente ocho horas de ida y ocho de regreso desde nuestro hogar hasta Houston, Texas, para recibir atención en MD Anderson Cancer Center. Los gastos de transporte, hospedaje, alimentos y atención médica continua siguen aumentando rápidamente. En este momento, estamos buscando urgentemente un tratamiento alternativo en Envita Medical Center en Arizona. Este tratamiento especializado es personalizado según su condición y nos ofrece una esperanza cuando las opciones tradicionales ya no son posibles. Lamentablemente, no está cubierto por el seguro. Los costos de tratamiento, consultas médicas, análisis, estudios y atención personalizada son muy elevados. Además, debemos cubrir los gastos de viaje y hospedaje desde Texas hasta Arizona. Mi hijo es un luchador y merece cada oportunidad para seguir peleando.
