My son was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis about five years ago. At first, it was a mild case and thankfully went into remission, but now it has come back and is much more severe. The insurance he has doesn’t cover any of his treatments, and he’s been missing work because of his health. The injections he needs are extremely expensive, and as a single mother, I simply don’t have the means to cover these costs on my own.

These injections could truly be a life saver for my son. Right now, he hasn’t been able to pay his bills or manage his health the way he needs to.
