My son is currently one of the top kids in the nation for his age in wrestling. These camps are excellent for his development and are helping him reach his goals of becoming a national champion and a Division 1 college wrestler. He turned 13 in January and is not only an excellent student but also the hardest worker in the room, both in his schoolwork and in his sport. He’s officially in pre-algebra, but he teaches himself far beyond his assignments—he even works on pre-calculus problems on his own, striving to be both a scholar and an athlete. He’s always willing to help others, whether it’s pushing his teammates at the gym or assisting classmates with math, science, and research projects. He puts his all into everything he does, making the most out of every camp and opportunity.
This summer, he has the chance to attend a one-week wrestling camp from June 21-25. The camp is a significant investment, and the costs add up quickly with travel, transportation, and hotel expenses. As a homeschool student, these camps are not just about honing his wrestling skills—they also provide much-needed socialization with his wrestling peers. He’s never attended school before, but he will be soon, and these camps are a great way to support his social development before entering the school system and, eventually, college. They also give him a taste of what it’s like to be part of a college team—a group of dedicated athletes working together to better one another.
I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping my son attend this important camp. Your generosity will make a real difference in his journey, both on and off the mat. Thank you for considering a donation and for being part of his story.
