Help My Son and Daughter-in-Law Fight Cancer After Pregnancy

Hello, my name is Miriam, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Brittany.

On December 20, 2024, they found out they were expecting a baby—a moment filled with joy and hope for their growing family. But everything changed on February 19, 2025, when they learned the heartbreaking news that they had lost the baby. Just a week later, on February 26, my daughter-in-law had to undergo an emergency D&C procedure.

We hoped that the worst was behind them, but on May 20, 2025, she received a devastating diagnosis: Gestational Trophoblastic Neoplasia (GTN)—a rare and aggressive cancer that can develop after pregnancy. She began chemotherapy on May 26, and their world was once again turned upside down.

While the prognosis is good with treatment, the emotional and financial burden has been overwhelming. They’re now facing mounting medical bills from ER visits, surgery, oncology treatment, and ongoing follow-ups—on top of the emotional toll of losing a child and fighting cancer.

I’m starting this fundraiser on their behalf to ask for help easing that burden. Every donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward:
