My sister received the devastating news of a brain tumor diagnosis on January 15th, and in such a short time, she had to navigate through the overwhelming task of arranging her life, especially with most of our family being in Peru. Despite the challenges, she showed incredible strength and resourcefulness, even coordinating with others to cover her work hours.

She underwent surgery at Duke University Hospital, and we were relieved to hear that the tumor was successfully removed. However, her journey is far from over, as managing her hormone levels is complex, and her recovery is taking longer than we had hoped. She now faces a recovery period of about six weeks and is unable to work during this time.
