I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my sister, her partner, and their young son, who lost their home in a fire accident nearly a year ago.

Recently they have lived through a concussion that made them move and build. Then there was a loss of a parent. Under a month after that their house burned down. This easter my sisters husband had a myocardial infarction. They are tired and out of money and for now I need to help them make the house ready before winter comes.

They have tried to get back on their feet by themselves without a dime for house or materials and due to her partners new health situation they need help.

They haven't been ready to take in help until now. That is why I hope that you'll do what you can to help. Even 30dkk / 5 USD will help in the big picture.

Below you can see what the money will be used for.

Before the fire, they were already in a difficult situation due to my sisters health challenge that limited their ability to work. Instead of giving up, they chose to build a home themselves using recycled materials and their own effort.

Then the fire destroyed everything.

Afterwards, they were given the opportunity to take over a house in very poor condition. It was uninhabitable, but it gave them a chance to move forward. They have worked hard to repair it themselves using the resources they had.

They have already invested all the resources they had into rebuilding. The insurance did not cover the house and building materials, as the home was still under construction and they had the wrong terms in their insurance papers.

They have now reached the limit of what they can manage on their own. Due to health limitations, they are no longer able to complete all the work themselves and will need professional help for parts of the rebuilding.

Their young son has remained well and secure throughout this time, thanks to their efforts to create a stable and supportive everyday life. This fundraiser is intended to help them maintain that stability while rebuilding their home.

We are raising money to help them rebuild a safe and stable home. The funds will go towards:

– Building materials, repairs, and necessary installations

– Professional help for essential parts of the construction

– Essential furnishings and items lost in the fire

– Temporary living costs during the rebuilding process

– Health-related expenses

– Basic living needs during this period, so they can continue rebuilding

I will ensure that all funds are handled responsibly and used where they are needed most.

* Screws (one box) — 150 DKK / approx. 25 USD

* Foundation, flooring and heating — 8,500 DKK / approx. 1,300 USD

* Windows and doors — 28,000 DKK / approx. 4,500 USD

Min søster, hendes partner og deres lille søn mistede deres hjem i en brandulykke for knap et år siden.

De har siden gjort alt, hvad de kunne, for selv at bygge og skabe stabilitet igen – men har nu nået grænsen for, hvad de kan klare uden hjælp.

Forsikringen dækkede ikke huset og byggematerialer.

De var heldige at få mulighed for at overtage et billigt, men ubeboeligt hus, som gav en chance for at se fremad. De har arbejdet på det selv, men mangler nu midler til at kunne færdiggøre det.

Indsamlingen går til materialer, nødvendigt arbejde og at skabe et trygt hjem – og samtidig holde en stabil hverdag for deres søn undervejs.
