Help my sisters and their families get out of Gaza
Hi, My name is Manal Al Jamal.
I’m Palestinian from Gaza , currently living abroad. I’m sure many of you are aware of the deadly situation happening in Gaza . I’m frantically requesting assistance for my family in Gaza who have endured unspeakable hardships. With Gaza under constant and destructive bombings , my two sisters with their spouses and children's have been living in fear and terror since October 7 . The streets that were before alive with life and passion are now only haunted with memories of suffering as yet our houses have turned into battle fields where People are being killed daily .
Neither me nor my family could sleep, eat or adjust life normally due to what’s happening in Gaza to my two sisters, to my people, to my country. On Oct 7, our lives broke apart and shattered. The IDF called my sister to evacuate from their houses as they had to flee from the North to the South . In a frantic attempt to live , they packed some belonging not knowing where are they going because they don’t have any other place to go , but they made their way in a last ditch to survive hoping that the worst would pass.
As the situation was just getting more worse day by day , my sisters again were forced to take risky decisions to evacuate for the second time for the sake of their safety hoping not to be targets of hostilities little do they know that they might survive the next attack since there is no safe place in Gaza to evacuate to. Contrary to what the media portrays, the actual situation in Gaza is far worse, and the lives of those who survived the bombings are in danger due to insufficient housing , a lack of sanitary facilities and the spread of illnesses.
Aside from the evacuation, the lack of access to food and water took place and people started to suffer hunger. Not only food, but also lack of medical care and other essentials that is needed for women and children, such as pads and pampers. It’s been 76 days my sisters and their families are suffering because they are barely finding water for their personal use , they're barely finding food to eat, two children are still babies and they natural breast feed and they are barely finding clean water to drink as they drank from the sea to survive, not to forget that winter came and they don’t have cloth to warn themselves.
Since this genocide, we’re suffering physically and mentally. It’s so terrifying seeing what’s happening, seeing your family in such brutal situation, and there’s nothing in your hand you can do. Nevertheless , my two sisters lost their homes, their work and their cars . They lost everything, and memories were the only thing left behind. I’m writing this petition to help get my 10 family members out of Gaza.
My sister Rola ,her husband and children;
Nina ( 12 years old ) , Naya ( 8 years old ) and Ayla ( 3months ) .
And my other sister Ruba , her husband and children;
Rayan ( 10 years old ) , Julia ( 7 years old ) and Mohammed ( 1 year old ) .
We are asking for help to get them out of the tragedy they are living in Gaza and what they see daily of bombing, death, destruction, terror and fear. This is to help them avoid this endless catastrophe and inevitable death where there is no stability. Your contribution and donation may save their lives before it is too late, and to get them out will require providing an amount of money for each person, ranging from 8,000$ per person. We hope to contribute to the reunification, as I have not met my sisters and their children for 9 years, and they have witnessed all the wars on the Gaza Strip since 2008 until this genocidal war that led to destroy the whole city.
Helping people stranded in this horrifying battle is our opportunity now. These family will survive with the help of every donation. Our gratitude to you for your kindness is extended. Thank you for your help and donations during this hardship time.
Note: The money will be sent to Mohamad Moshail, my brother in law, and then it will be transferred to Turkey ( Istanbul ) where I live in order to send it to my sisters.
