Help Samira, get the cancer treatment she needs

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I’m reaching out with deep emotion and urgency.

My sister-in-law, Samira, is 53 years old and has recently been diagnosed with advanced metastatic cancer of the sigmoid colon, which has already spread to her liver. She has bravely started chemotherapy, and major surgery is planned — but the journey ahead is difficult, and the treatments that she now needs are highly specialised and extremely costly.

To give Samira the best possible chance of survival, we need to access advanced cancer care — including immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and state-of-the-art surgical procedures — as well as critical imaging, monitoring, and medical support that are simply not available through standard treatment routes.

I’m hoping to raise £150,000 to help cover:

Specialist cancer surgery

Advanced imaging and diagnostic testing

Immunotherapy and targeted treatments

Travel, accommodation, and medical care throughout the treatment process

Samira is an incredibly warm, selfless, and much-loved woman — a devoted mother, sister, and friend. Her only daughter, aged 23, was due to get married next year. That time, which should have been filled with celebration, has instead been replaced with fear, uncertainty, and the fight of her life.
