Hi, my name is Barbra Costello, Tracy’s youngest sister. I’m creating this GoFundMe to help my sister fight Follicular Lymphoma. This is a type of blood cancer that is in the lymph nodes. I had been visiting my sister, in Tennessee, this past August so that she and her husband could go on vacation. My sister is the primary caregiver for my mom, who requires 24 hour care due to Alzheimer’s. My sister had to cancel her vacation because she found a lump on her back. Tracy had an ultrasound August 17, followed by a CAT scan August 21. The surgeon told her it was nothing to worry about and that it was a hematoma. Tracy was denied a request for a biopsy at this time. As months passed, she kept a watchful eye and noticed that the lump was growing. In October, a biopsy was finally done and Tracy received the devastating news that she has cancer. The cancer has since spread to other parts of her body.

Tracy has selflessly focused on the care of our mom for 3 years, this is the time for her to shift that focus to getting healthy. She has already received 2 rounds of chemotherapy (3 days at a time) and will continue treatment for 2 years.
