My sister has been quietly carrying the weight of the world since July 2025, when the place she worked suddenly closed. Overnight, she lost part of her income, and even though she found a new job as soon as she could, the financial damage continued to snowball behind the scenes.

She’s been fighting so hard to keep up—juggling bills, deciding which necessities can wait, and stretching every dollar until there’s nothing left. Now she’s facing the risk of her utilities being shut off, her bank account buried in overdraft fees that swallow nearly her entire paycheck, and the stress of relying on prepaid electric just to keep her home powered.

With the holidays approaching and cold weather already setting in, everything feels heavier for her. The season that should bring warmth and comfort has become another source of worry—wondering how she’ll keep her home warm, how she’ll get to work, and how she’ll afford even the basic essentials when every paycheck disappears the moment it arrives.

Her car needs a new battery, and without it she has no dependable way to get to work. She’s been going without gas, food, and other necessities just to stay afloat. She’s doing everything she can to hold her life together, but she’s at the point where one more setback could send everything spiraling.

If you knew my sister, you’d understand why this hurts to share. She is the kindest soul—always the first to help, support, and uplift others, even when she has nothing left herself. She gives without hesitation and never complains, and now she’s struggling in silence because she doesn’t want to burden anyone.

I’m asking for help on her behalf because she would never ask for herself.
