My name is Keshav, and I live in Girraween, NSW, Australia. I never thought I’d find myself in this position — reaching out to the kindness of strangers — but today, I am doing everything I can to save the life of someone I love dearly: my sister, Sonia.
Sonia is just 33 years old and lives in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, India with her husband. She’s a warm, loving, and kind-hearted woman — the kind of person who lights up a room with her smile, who goes out of her way to care for others, and who now needs all of us to care for her.
A few months ago, Sonia fell seriously ill. What began as minor symptoms quickly spiraled into something unimaginable. She has been diagnosed with a combination of rare and devastating conditions: Acute Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS), Thrombotic Microangiopathy (TMA), Cytomegalovirus (CMV), and Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome.
She is currently in critical condition, fighting for her life in the ICU at Fortis Hospital, Gurugram, India. Every passing hour matters. Every day in the ICU brings both hope and overwhelming medical costs. The doctors are doing everything they can, but her treatment is complex and ongoing.
So far, we have spent around AUD 117,000- money we gathered through family savings, personal loans, and everything we could possibly put together. But we are now at a point where we urgently need another AUD 45,000 to continue her treatment and keep her alive.
This is why I am reaching out to you.
Please, if you’re reading this, I ask for your help. Whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer — every bit matters. Your support could give Sonia a chance to heal, to come home, to live the life she still has ahead of her.
