Over the past few years, my sister, Ashley, has gone through an incredible transformation — one filled with courage, pain, growth, and hope.

She made the brave decision to leave behind a life in Pennsylvania marked by addiction and domestic violence, determined to create something better for herself and her daughter. With nothing but strength and faith, she packed up, started over in Maine, and entered an incredible women’s shelter that has helped her rebuild her life piece by piece.

Since then, she’s remained sober, become a devoted mother, and begun laying the foundation for her future — enrolling in classes, preparing for a new career, and working hard to build stability and self-worth.

But one thing still holds her back: her dental health.

Due to both genetics and the toll of her past, her teeth have suffered severe damage. It affects her confidence, her comfort, and her ability to fully step into the bright, capable woman she’s become.
