Help Josie Recover After Devastating Apartment Fire

Donation protected
In the early hours of Thursday morning, a fire broke out at the Ridgecrest Apartments in Hazel Dell.
My sister Josie was one of the residents in the apartment complex that was affected. The fire spread quickly, accompanied by explosions.

My sister was among those who barely made it out. While she survived physically unharmed, she lost everything—her home, her car, her belongings, and her memories. She is now left with nothing.

We’re heartbroken but grateful she’s alive. Right now, she needs immediate help to rebuild her life from scratch—things like clothing, food, temporary housing, and eventually furniture and home essentials once she finds a new place to live.

This GoFundMe is to support her in this uncertain time and help her get back on her feet. She is self-employed as a house cleaner, and losing her car in the fire has been especially devastating. Her car was not only her transportation but the lifeline of her work — without it, she has no way to reach her clients or continue earning an income. Any donation, big or small, will go directly to helping her recover and begin to rebuild. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this with others who might be able to help.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support.

With gratitude,
Courtney Denney
