Help My Sister Rebuild From Apartment Fire.
Donation protected
My sister Allison lives in Killeen, Texas and yesterday afternoon her apartment complex started to fill with smoke. My sister went outside to check with her neighbors to see if they also smelled smoke and while doing so they saw the upstairs unit a-blaze.
She went in her apartment, grabbed my niece and as much as she could before her whole unit was engulfed with smoke. She had two cats, both of which were so scared, they hid under the bed. She couldn't grab them because the smoke was coming in the room so fast. She left all the doors open hoping they would make their way out but they did not. One of her cats passed away from smoke inhalation and the other was taken to the vet in critical condition.
All of her stuff as been contaminated by the heavy smoke and she can't use any of the items in her house. They have been ruined along with all of the clothes, toys, furniture and essential items a home would have.
There is still no word on how this apartment complex fire started but almost everyone in that complex has been displaced.

She has renters insurance that will cover some of what was lost, but as of now she can't return to that unit. She has to find a completely new place with nothing but what she grabbed out of her unit. Im hoping to raise enough money for a deposit/firstmonth/lastmonth on a new apartment for her and her family so she can find something fast and start to rebuild.
Any and all donations however small are appreciated.
