Help my sister & her family rebuild after floods

Hello, my name is Chloe (Juan).

I have been living and working in Ireland for over 20 years, but the rest of my immediate family reside in China.

I'm starting a fundraiser to help my sister and her family with the heavy financial costs that they are facing following the devastating flash floods in Fuzhou, China in the last week. Their whole lives have been turned upside down in an instant and they unfortunately have no insurance cover for their home (which is standard in China). Their house and almost all the contents and many of their personal possessions within it have been completely destroyed, along with their family car (which is also not covered for flood damage under their insurance plan).

My sister, her husband, her husband's mother and their two children are in deep distress at the moment. Their only source of income is their family run business which is currently non-operational due to the disastrous situation they find themselves in and this is only compounding the problems they are currently facing. Mountains of debt will no doubt accumulate over the next while and their level of hardship will increase along with it.

From spending so much of my life in Ireland and from having made many friends here over the years, I know one of the great traits of Irish people is their willingness to step forward and help those who find themselves in difficult situations. For this reason, I'm appealing to everyone for any help that they can offer. Donations of any amount would be hugely appreciated by both myself and my sister & her family and it would go a long way in helping them get their lives back on track. If donating is not possible, even simply sharing the link to this fundraiser on your social media pages would also be very helpful.
