Help My Sister Heal After a Devastating Car Accident

Hi, I come to you with a heavy heart and I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my sister, Damaris, who was recently involved in a life-changing car accident.

What should have been a regular day turned into a nightmare on Wednesday the 9th when we all got a notification sent to our phones that her watch detected a hard fall and emergency services had been called, it was the most confusing/heart breaking message we've ever received especially when she wouldn't answer our calls about it, little did we know she had been unresponsive at the scene. She suffered serious injuries to her brain, ribs and pelvis, was taken into surgery to stabilize her pelvic fractures and is now facing a long, painful road to recovery — physically, emotionally, and financially.

She will be undergoing physical therapy and will be out of work for some time. We’re asking for help from friends, family, and anyone with the heart to support my sister. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward:

    •    Medical bills and treatment

    •    Rehabilitation and recovery expenses

    •    Daily living costs while she’s unable to work.
