Help my sister get to MD Anderson

Hi, my name is Faith Martin I am creating this go fund me for my sister Cassandra Kirkpatrick. My sister was diagnosed in April 2023 with a grade 1 invasive ductal carcinoma this is her2 negative and estrogen and pro estrogen positive stage four. The cancer is in her breasts, lymph nodes, bones, adrenal glands, and liver. Cassandra was taking an oral chemo, injections, and a pill to get rid of all the estrogen out of her body. This process was working up until recently. She started having severe pain and selling in her left arm. We were praying and hoping that it wasn’t the cancer growing but February 23rd they did scans on her with results we did not want. The cancer in her breast and lymph nodes has grown. As well as finding cancer cells in her lungs. Her oncologist wanted her to start aggressive chemo on February 27th. Chemo would be every week for an hour and a half for six months. After praying, consideration, talking with others who have fought similar battles, and professionals she has decided not to start chemo until getting a second opinion from MD Anderson. Cassandra has been in contact with MD Anderson and has already done over the phone intake. For those of you who know my sister know that she is so kind hearted and just such an amazing person. For those of you who do not know my sister she is a wife, a mother to two amazing hard working boys, a daughter, a sister, a lollie to her one year old grandson, and a Kiki to her niece and nephew. She is the best of the best! She would stop anything to help those in need no questions asked. Through all of this her faith in god has only grown stronger. She has been spending a lot of time talking with god and believing and trusting him to lead her down the right path. My sister is the strongest person I have ever met but she has been feeling a little knocked down after finding out bad news but make no mistake she will never give up. She is going to fight as hard as she possibly can with god and her family by her side. With all of this being said MD Anderson is wanting her top be in Houston for about a week at least and she really needs her husband by her side but they also depend on his income more than ever right now. So if anyone could please help make this possible for her to go and to also have her supportive husband by her side. That would be such an amazing blessing for all of us.
