Help My Sister Get Medical Attentn

While on our family vacation in Brazil my sister Eliana was in a horrible hang gliding accident. Immediately after takeoff a change of wind caused her delta kite to plummet, flip multiple times, and crash into the remote mountainside. There she was alone for several hours until a rescue team was finally able to locate her. Having suffered 4 fractured vertebrae, she had to be airlifted to the nearest care center.  There the doctors were only able to give her some pain killers and discharged her without a wheelchair because there were not enough available. 

Now she is currently unable to walk, stand, or sit for longer than 30mins at a time – let alone care for my 21 month old nephew Andres. Due to the lack of proper medical attention in this country we don’t even know the full extent of her injuries. She NEEDS to get back home to Miami and seek additional medical diagnosis. Because of her fragile condition, the original 12hr trip we had planned to get back home on a cramped little plane  will not be ideal.
