I have done a lot of self help groups while being here in prison, and I have been given the opportunity to be in a position to facilitate self help groups in order to help others achieve a degree of rehabilitation. I facilitate Getting out of your own way Monday nights in 512, and AA on Sunday in 512. I do bible study every Saturday in 512 and attend church on a regular basis every Sunday in the GYM on the main yard. I also take part in correspondence courses through other self help groups like CBT (cognitive behavioral Therapy), ALI, and LLP (live learn and proper). I am part of several community based groups like WOW, In between and The Community Alliance Group on C yard.

I am actively staying involved to give back in anyway possible to make amends to my victim and the victims family as well as the members of the community in which I impacted through my crime. I am ready to be apart of society again and make a fresh start because of the changes and growth I have made since I committed my crime. I came in young and young minded, even made many mistakes along the way, but with the time I have served and self growth I have acquired and God as my main focus in life, I am ready to step out of here and back into society. I want to give back to the communities I have damaged from the affects of my crime and help others who are traveling down the wrong path so that no more lives are lost or damaged.

If given the opportunity to go home I will do everything I am required to do and then some so that way I never come back to prison again.
