This is my sister (the one in the plaid shirt). She was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2018. Kathy and Dan care for three children with special needs and have been champions for children with special needs for years. Kathy's heart has no bounds and she has spent her life helping others. It is our turn to help her in her time of need. Even with medical insurance, she faces financial trials as they try to navigate her cancer treatment with childcare needs for her children. She is a fighter and I have no doubt she will get through this and remain an advocate for children with special needs for years to come. Her faith is sustaining her and our entire family.
