Update on 1 March ... RAMDAN KAREM
Today, Ramadan has arrived, and my sister is alone after once being surrounded by our laughter. I write this while crying… All her family members have been scattered outside our homeland—her mother and sisters—while she remains alone, celebrating, grieving, and eating by herself… in her tent, after the warmth of our beautiful homes.
For this blessed month, we pray that Allah lifts my sister out of this hardship. I hope that everyone who has helped her continues to do so because she truly needs you.
Update on February 6
A ceasefire has occurred, الحمد لله, this is a blessing from Allah. I thank you all for everything you have given my sister in love and support.
Unfortunately, my sister’s husband went with the crowds to North Gaza to find that their home and neighborhood were completely gone. He returned to the south with his heart aching for the house that he had saved money for all his life. Now, he is back in my sister’s tent, and she truly needs your help.
We need your assistance to secure a rental home for her with its necessities. The house costs $800 per month, and it is empty and also in poor condition.
Please, she really needs you and your generous donations.
5 January 2025 Update
Today marks two years of war for my sister… One year has passed with its pain, and another has arrived with its terrifying uncertainty. As she watches year after year, everyone celebrates the arrival of a new year… while she faces fear alone, without her mother and sisters, who were fortunate enough to be evacuated to Egypt. Meanwhile, she remains trapped with her family in their tent.
Winter has come, and my sister has faced one of the greatest hardships—living out in the open. The tent provides no protection from the cold, no shelter from the rain, and no barrier to keep the water out. They can’t sleep because of the freezing winter nights.
I direct my message to every donor who has supported my sister: you have my gratitude, my love, and my heartfelt appreciation. I hope you can consider donating even half the amount needed so we can cover the winter expenses for my sister and her family

.update 1 november...
In the heart of conflict, my sister
remains a symbol of resilience and courage. She is a woman deprived of the simplest rights in life, yet she has not lost her strength, even though the war casts its harsh shadow over every detail of her existence. She lives under siege, where food is scarce, and each day grows harder than the last. Still, she continues to face this bleak reality, drawing her strength from a love of life and a steadfast faith in patience.
My sister is not just someone going through a crisis; she is a model of endurance when days grow dark, and resources dwindle, when smiles are stolen, and dreams are crushed. In the face of suffering, she creates hope from nothing, silences the pain of hunger with patience, and seeks a small reprieve in an ever-harsher reality.
Sometimes, I wonder where she draws this strength from. How does she remain steadfast as the world collapses around her? Perhaps it’s the will to live, perhaps it’s the dream of a better tomorrow, or perhaps it’s her love of hope that allows her to look beyond, to a future she wishes to be less bleak.
My sister, you are not alone, even though the circumstances are harsh, and the light seems distant.

My sister is a source of strength and hope, a person capable of turning pain into joy and suffering into opportunities for growth. She has a heart full of determination and a spirit that knows no defeat. No matter how tough the circumstances are, she is always smiling, always looking forward, teaching those around her the beauty of patience and the power of believing in a brighter future.
Every day, my sister shows us that life is worth living and that we can find light even in the darkest of times. While others celebrate only their happy moments, she celebrates even the difficult ones, transforming them into occasions filled with joy and hope. This was evident in how she celebrated her wedding anniversary, which she turned into a testament to her love, loyalty, and optimism, no matter what.
She is not only a sister but also a source of inspiration and generosity, teaching hearts how to endure, how to love, and how to find, each day, a renewed hope that revives life.
I'm Thanking each one of you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for your donations and your love and support for my sister. You helped me so we could get her out of this immediate danger, but unfortunately, the crossing is closed now, which caused her to be the only one of my family left in Gaza. 2024 is coming to an end, and the war is still going on. People are dying more than ever, and the situation is getting much worse than before. My sister has been displaced from place to place several times, and she is living under a tent and living under conditions that no one human being should be going through. The majority of the money that we managed to raise for her was spent on food, water, and other daily life necessities, as life in Gaza now is unfordable, and the prices are unimaginable. I hope that you understand the amount of suffering and how many struggles she is facing with her family day by day, and why we don't want to waste the opportunity of getting her and her family out. I want to give you a quick brief on the prices in Gaza these days: The tent they live in now costs 900$, and hygiene tools such as soap, toilet paper, and shampoos. All these products have vanished from the markets. It's uncommon to find, and if they could find some of these tools, they would be too expensive. Clean water costs nearly 15$, and vegetables are picked by piece, as they can't afford to buy a whole pack. Bread and cheese cost more than 20 dollars. My sister spends more than 1000$ and even more every month just on the daily necessities. There are no jobs and they are fighting day by day so they make it and survive this terrible genocide

Your donation will save my sister from her daily suffering. Please do not forget her...

Hello, I'm Dina, and I'm reaching out because my heart is heavy with worry. My sister Amani, her husband, and their four kids, along with my niece Mira, are facing a dangerous situation in Rafah and they urgently need your help. They used to have a safe place in Gaza City, a new home they worked so hard for.

But then, their building got hit by bombs, and now they're living in tents in Rafah. Life there is full of danger, with bombs falling and uncertainty everywhere. Just imagine the fear of running for your life, with bombs falling all around you. And then ending up in a place like that. We've all seen the danger facing the people in Gaza. My sister Amani and her family urgently need to evacuate to safety in Egypt. The situation there is frightening, and they deserve to live without fear. Your donation could be the thing that saves them. You sent While we have funds for 4 adults, we still need to raise the remaining funds for 2 additional adults and 1 child. Below is a breakdown of how the funds will be allocated: We need to raise a total of: €20,000 EUROS - (APPROX $27,000 USD) Evacuation cost for 2 Adults: $10,000 Evacuation cost for 1 Child: $2.500 The estimated bank transfer fees: $2000 Total = $14,500 USD - (€13,350 EUROS APPROX) After subtracting the total expenses from the €20,000 EUROS - (APPROX $27,000 USD) Total: €5,500 EUROS - (APPROX $6000 USD) funds will be allocated towards essential day-to-day expenses like food, water, and shelter for the family until the conflict subsides. Let's come together to help them find refuge and security away from the conflict. Your support can make a real difference in ensuring their safety and well-being. You In the event that this family faces challenges in evacuating, we will utilize the funds to support them until they regain stability. However, we know that others have successfully evacuated using the same agency, so there should be a good chance for them to do so as well, inshallah! Every contribution, regardless of size, can make a world of difference! Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your network. Thank you for standing with us in this critical time.
