Help my sister and niece start over after the fire
Donation protected
Hello.
This is the before picture. Now there are only smoldering ashes. My sister Alex - a single Mom, niece Sasha, and their loving dog Ulli lost their forever home in the Eaton fire two days ago in Altadena, California. In a matter of minutes, their cul-de-sac was blazing, and there was no time to prepare. It was a major milestone to work hard and finally be able to buy a home, fix it up, and create a legacy for Sasha. I'm doing everything and anything I can to support my family—emotionally and logistically.
Everything is gone. Their home and the cul-de-sac they lived on. Alex fled with very little—a few pairs of pants, her laptop, dog bowl, dog food, and Ulli. Gratefully, Sasha had just gone back to college and didn't have to see their home and the town she grew up in turned into an ashen war zone. Those of us living in Southern California know what it's like here as more fires explode around us. It's surreal, apocalyptic, and devastating.
I've created this GoFundMe to help my family start over. Any little bit will be greatly appreciated and help as they overcome this trauma. Donations will be put towards any loss and unmet needs not covered by insurance or disaster relief.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart, as do Alex, Sasha, and Ulli.
Nancy - Alex's sister. Sasha's Aunt.
