Help My Sister and Mother of Three

Hi, my name is Bobby and I set this gofundme up for my sister Ragen. Some of you may know her but some of you may not know too well… So I will give a little background to her.

My sister Ragen is a hard worker who used to cut hair about 6 days a week and be on her feet and active 7 days a week all while raising three young boys (Conner, Parker and Hunter). They moved out to California to start a new life, and we would go out to visit them yearly. This is when things took a turn….

5 years ago, Ragen was only just the age of 27 when she went to her doctors out in California due to a lump on her breast. They pretty much right away turned her away and ruled it as a blocked milk duct due to her recently being pregnant with her third child and told her not to worry about it. Taking the experts advice she listened and ultimately made the decision over time to move back here and go back to cutting hair. When she moved back here she went to her doctor back here thinking something wasn’t right, and they diagnosed her with stage 4 Breast Cancer which in turn spread to other parts of her body. She immediately blocked everything out after hearing those words “Cancer” and they started treatment right away.

She went through months and months of chemo and radiation all while still trying to get up and go to work to provide for her kids and family. She lived with us and we would help with the kids until she got better. This went on for over a year and one blood transfusion later. Seeing her go from always being on the move and active to barely even being able to get out of bed was aching to see and seeing her in pain was even more disheartening to see. Fast forward she was cleared after the chemo and had to rely on medication thereafter.

In 2020 the same year Covid hit and put her out of work she was feeling off and went back to the doctors. Nothing was found in the scans and she went and had a preventative surgery done. During this surgery they found she had cancer again and was put on medication again and went through treatment for two months. Everything was fine… fast forward to now she went to see a new doctor and they insist she got scans done. This is when she found she was diagnosed with metastatic cancer all in her bones and her body and started immediate plans for possible treatments.

She is the person that will fight through anything and normally not talk to anyone about it. But seeing her struggle financially and being in and out of work so often is disheartening and trying to hide everything from her three young kids and trying to play like everything is fine, is a hard task that doesn’t come easy. She’s buying clothes for them and they are outgrowing their clothes rapidly and trying to feed them all while trying to work. Today she just had another procedure and will be out of work for a while and finances are going to be a major obstacle and challenge for her and her boys. So I decided to make this and help her out. Any little bit will help.
