Help Support My Sister and Her Boys After the Loss of John Max Robertson
It’s with a heavy heart that I share the unexpected passing of my sister’s husband, John Max Robertson, who went to be with his Savior early Monday morning. While John had some health concerns, none of us could have imagined he would be taken from us so suddenly. He was only 43 years old.
John was the love of my sister’s life — her best friend, partner, and steady support. He was a kind, caring man who poured much love into his family. He was also a wonderful father figure to their three boys, Corbin (1.5), Conner (3.5), and Camden (17). Camden is my sister’s oldest from a previous marriage, but John embraced him with a full heart and treated all three boys as his own.
Now, my sister is facing life without him — grieving the loss of her husband while caring for their children and trying to navigate a future she never expected. She is currently without an income and is facing overwhelming expenses, including funeral and celebration of life costs. The family will also need to travel to California to honor John’s life and lay him to rest.
One of her greatest fears right now is being forced to uproot her boys from the only home they’ve known since living in Texas — all in the midst of this tragedy. She is doing everything she can to give them some sense of stability, peace, and comfort as they grieve the loss of their dad.
We’re reaching out to our community for support. If you're able to contribute, every donation will go directly toward covering these immediate needs and helping provide some stability as my sister and the boys begin to heal.
Please consider donating, sharing this post, or keeping this family in your prayers. Your kindness, in any form, means more than words can say.
With heartfelt gratitude
