My sister and brother in law would never ask for help like this. So, I am doing it for them. They have been having a very hard time lately, and can’t seem to catch a break.

It started last summer when my sister had to undergo a hysterectomy. She healed after weeks of being off work. Shortly after that is when our dad came close to leaving this world. We all made trips to the hospital for months. During all of that my brother in law had a death in his family that they had to travel out of state for. Not to long after my brother in law developed a large cyst on his hand that he had to have surgery to get rid of, which put him out of work for several weeks. During that time my sister discovered she had stenosis of the spine. She underwent another major surgery in December. Weeks went by and she wasn’t healing. When the doctor finally decided to see her they discovered that she had contracted a rare infection that she had to have yet another operation for.

My sister was in the hospital during this last ice storm that just passed, and as if all that wasn’t enough, when they arrived home they found that their home was flooded. Their pipes had frozen and burst while in the hospital, and thawed before they arrived home.

Of course their family is doing all they can to help, but we would very much appreciate any little thing that you could spare to help get them back in their home and on their feet.
