My sister a candidate for Austin Community College’s radiology program was recently robbed of her rent and car payment by scammers pretending to be a loan company she had recently reached out to while trying secure a payday loan to help her pay for classes as she did not receive financial aid/student loans and is paying for the semester out of pocket. She is now 2 months behind on rent and will be evicted on April 29, 2022 if she does not come up with approximately $3,500 of which she currently has $2000. She continues to do everything she can to make up the $ working extra hours outside her day job running for Favor delivery. But even if she can come up with the $3500 she still has rent due again in less than 2 weeks and is in desperate need for help. Please if you have just a few dollars to spare everything and anything helps.

We are from a small town in the Rio Grande Valley and she left home to the city of Austin for better opportunities and to attend and finish college. Please don’t let her dreams of accomplishing this be defeated by vicious predatory people who robbed her when she was asking for help.
