Help my sick mother, A single mom with 4 kids
Donation protected
My biological mother, Digna Narvaez, Is currently sick. She is a single mother living in Quito, Ecuador with my 4 younger siblings.

She was diagnosed with acute bronchitis and acute pyelonephritis a few weeks ago. We hoped and prayed that it would go away sooner but unfortunately it has gotten worse. Acute bronchitis is a contagious viral infection that causes inflammation in the bronchial tubes. She has had this for a while and unfortunately was not treated right away. This can lead to pneumonia or respiratory failure. Along with this, she has Acute Pyelonephritis which is a sudden and severe kidney infection. It causes the kidneys to swell and may permanently damage them, it can be life-threatening. This too has gone untreated due to poverty.
Due to the huge outbreak of Coronavirus in Ecuador, many who are sick are not being treated. They are being turned away just like my mother.
Digna is currently renting out a room for her and my siblings. Due to Corona, she does not have a job and cannot financially support her or my siblings. They are behind in rent and cannot afford to buy medicine and food for themselves. In fact my brother, the oldest living with her is 10. Right now he is taking care of the family as my mother is too sick to get out of bed. He said that "sometimes the neighbors provide with little things" meaning that he is relying on the kindness of his neighbors for food but the community is poor and they can't help my family with everything.
So, I am asking you. Please help my mother get better. She cannot die. I know that she will hopefully survive but with corona down there she is more prone. I only reconnected with her recently after 17 years. She gave me up for a better life and I want to return the favor. I hope to one day be able to meet her in person and be united with my family. So help me make it possible.
She is $500 behind in rent. She needs money for medicine and food for her family. Currently they can only afford ciprofloxacin which is $20 but with her conditions getting worse she may need more than that. She might even need surgery. My brother Anderson cannot take care of her and my siblings alone. Each dollar counts. So let's help her get a speedy recovery so she won't need surgery.
Any help you can give will be deeply appreciated. Even by sharing this will help us greatly.
So please, help get the word out and share!
Thank you so much!
