My service animal has been by my side for the past ten years, and she truly saved my life when she alerted my mom after I passed out on the bathroom floor. Since then, she has been my constant companion, helping me manage anxiety and depression, and making sure I take my medications on time. Recently, she was diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease. The prescription diet she needs is expensive, and she has started experiencing frequent vomiting, which means more trips to the vet.
