My senior dog is a rescue that I've had for over 8 years. We've experienced lots of good and bad times together, and she is my emotional support animal. She sees me as her dad, and I see her as my child. She has been struggling with excessive diarrhea and lethargy, and it’s been over a year since she’s seen a vet. She has also had both back hind legs ACLs torn in the past, which makes it challenging for her to go poop in a good posture without straining her hips and joints. Despite these issues, she has been drinking plenty of water and continues to eat her food without slowing down or refusing meals. I’ve been facing ongoing financial challenges, and her severe anxiety about vet visits has made it even harder to get her the care she needs. I’ve tried every home remedy I could find—plain diets, pumpkin puree, even fasting for a day—but nothing has helped, and I’m worried for her health and comfort.

I want to make sure she gets a proper exam, the right medicine, and guidance on a diet that will help her maintain a clean bill of health. My hope is to give her the best care possible so she can enjoy her last few years with me in a comfortable and supportive environment. The funds raised will cover her vet visit, a pet-safe ride to and from the appointment, and any prescriptions she may need, since I no longer have pet insurance.
