Hello all,
On Father's Day we adopted a rescue kitten who was transported up from Florida to find a loving home. She was doing well until about 48 hours ago, when she suddenly became lethargic and stopped eating.
Worried for her health, I brought her to VESH, the amazing emergency veterinary office in our area. After a thorough examination, she was diagnosed with panleukopenia, also known as feline parvo.
This is a devastating disease, and it has been heartbreaking to see her struggle so much after such a promising start.
The veterinary team has provided a quote for her emergency care, and if she survives, she will need ongoing treatment at home. These costs are overwhelming, but I am determined to give her every chance to recover and live a happy life.
Your support will go directly toward her medical bills and continued care, making a real difference in her fight against this illness.
I am deeply grateful for any help you can offer. I've been doing Cat Rescue work for many years, and this is the first time I've ever had to deal with panleukopenia.
A couple years ago, we had a rescue puppy for 2 months, our beloved dog Clover, who broke her leg and it cost us a significant amount at the emergency vet to fix it. We couldn't have done it without raising half of the money on this platform, and I know that together, we can help my kitten get through this.
Any amount helps, and your kindness means the world to us.
With love,
KoKo and family
