Help My Rescue Cat Get Urgent Dental Surgery

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my beloved cat, who is in urgent need of dental surgery. I adopted him from a shelter — he had a tough start in life, found in a soggy cardboard box with his siblings, chewing the sides to survive. I promised him a safe and loving home. And now, I need help to keep that promise.

Recently, I noticed he was drooling and in visible pain. He’s barely eating, and I discovered a severely decayed tooth in the back of his mouth. He needs:

• a full dental exam

• X-rays

• extractions (possibly multiple teeth)

• a deep cleaning under anesthesia

• post-operative medications and care

The total cost is estimated at $1,600-2,600, depending on how many teeth need to be removed and any complications during surgery. The initial estimate was around $1,400–$1,500, but after closer examination, it looks like most of his teeth are severely damaged or decayed. The vet suspects he may need multiple extractions — possibly a full-mouth dental surgery — which could increase the total cost to $2,600 or more.

I’m leaving a wider range for this fundraiser to make sure I can cover everything he needs, including anesthesia, pain meds, x-rays, and proper recovery care.

I’m doing my best to cover what I can, but I’m a single mom and currently struggling to make ends meet. I would be endlessly grateful for any support you can offer — every dollar truly helps.

If there is any leftover after his treatment, I will donate it to the shelter where I found him — to help other animals like him get a second chance.
