I recently adopted my cat from a rescue, hoping to give her a loving home and a fresh start. I had no idea she was hiding serious health issues, and everything changed so quickly. One day, she started having trouble breathing, and I rushed her to the emergency vet. The diagnosis was overwhelming—she has fluid around her lungs and a heart murmur that needs to be checked right away.

The vet bills have already started to add up, and she’ll need ongoing follow-up care to manage her condition and keep her comfortable. I want to do everything I can to help her recover and live a happy life, but I can’t do it alone.
