We are almost at 5000.00 at this point and that is just to bring us up to today and we don't know what kind of surgery that she might have to have so any help is appreciated. She was diagnosed with Addison's disease, the worst they've ever seen when she was 3 years old and we spent $5,000 at Cornell. She's been healthy and fine for years with medications, she has been on Prednisone every other day and percorten injection every 28 days for years now. Those medications are about $100 a month. She's been healthy and fine. This little girl has fought for her life for a long time. She's still young for Yorkie and this came about. I've had her at Vestal emergency hospital,’ Milan Animal Hospital, and now Colonial since last Friday. they didn't think she would make it through the night. When I picked her up today she stood up she kissed me with her IVs in and we drove an hour and a half to bring her to Colonial in the car. we had feeding syringes and she still had her port in we got her there and she was still looking good. All six vets seem to think that she will be fine if she goes through these surgeries it's just a money issue at this time. I'm coming up with as much as I can so any help would be appreciated. The Vets all seem to think if they can get the tumor out if this is what it is they will be doing ultrasounds on her tonight her blood work is out to Cornell and they think if it's all good with surgeries and medication she could live several more years. if it's not insulinoma they are kind of lost and we're going to have to do more testing we're hoping to get the blood work back today.
