Hi, I’m Adam, and I’m fundraising for my partner, who’s about to begin chemotherapy for cancer.

She’s a trans woman of colour living in Spain without legal residency, which means she’s excluded from many systems of support. She’s currently unable to work due to the effects of her illness — extreme fatigue, pain, and other symptoms that make day-to-day life difficult.

We’ve been managing as best we can, but with chemo starting next week, the financial strain is becoming too much. While some treatment is covered, there are still a lot of out-of-pocket expenses we can’t meet on our own.

What your donation will help cover:

• Medication and medical supplies not fully covered

• Transportation to and from appointments

• Basic living expenses like rent, food, and utilities

• Recovery support over the coming months

Ayuda a Mi Pareja a Cubrir Necesidades Básicas Durante la Quimioterapia

Hola, soy Adam y estoy recaudando fondos para mi pareja, que está a punto de comenzar la quimioterapia para tratar el cáncer.

Ella es una mujer trans racializada que vive en España sin residencia legal, lo que significa que está excluida de muchos sistemas de apoyo. Actualmente no puede trabajar debido a los efectos de su enfermedad —fatiga extrema, dolor y otros síntomas que hacen que la vida diaria sea muy difícil.

Hemos estado haciendo todo lo posible, pero con la quimioterapia comenzando la próxima semana, la carga económica se está volviendo insostenible. Aunque parte del tratamiento está cubierto, todavía hay muchos gastos que tenemos que asumir por nuestra cuenta y que no podemos cubrir solos.
