Help My Parents Rebuild After Devastating House Fire!
Last week, my parents experienced a heartbreaking tragedy—a garage fire that quickly spread to their home. Thankfully, they made it out safely, but everything else has been turned upside down.
At first, we were hopeful that much of the house and their belongings could be saved. Sadly, the damage was far worse than it appeared. The home has now been deemed a total loss and will need to be demolished. What couldn’t be destroyed by fire has been ruined by water, heat, and recent rain. Nearly everything inside—including furniture, electronics, clothing, and anything made of wood, plastic, or paper—has been lost.
While my parents do have insurance, the reality is that after covering the mortgage, cleanup, and demolition costs, there will be very little left to help them rebuild their lives.
My parents are the kind of people who are always there for others. They have spent their lives helping family and friends in times of need, often putting others before themselves. My dad, especially, is the type of person who would never accept anything for free—yet he is always the first to step up and offer help or make a donation when someone else is in need. That’s just who they are.
They have done so much for me and have always put their granddaughters first. When I needed help the most, they were there—supporting me, even if it meant going without themselves.
Now, they need help.
They are facing the overwhelming task of starting completely from scratch—needing everything from basic necessities like dishes and clothing to larger essentials like furniture and appliances.
If you are able to help in any way, whether through a donation or by sharing this page, it would mean so much to our family. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help my parents begin to rebuild their lives after this loss.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
