Last night, my parents’ home of 38 years caught fire. Thankfully, they are safe and no one was injured, but the damage to their house means they won’t be able to live there until it’s repaired. This home holds so many memories for our family, and it’s heartbreaking to see it in this condition. The fire has left them without a place to stay, and the uncertainty of when they’ll be able to return home is overwhelming.

The process of getting their house back to a livable state will be long and challenging. My parents now face the immediate need for temporary housing, repairs, and replacing essentials lost in the fire. They have always been there for others in our community, and now they need a helping hand to get through this difficult time. I want to make sure they have the support they need to start rebuilding their lives and find comfort during this stressful period.
