On October 23rd, my parents’ home was completely destroyed in a devastating fire. According to fire investigators, the fire was caused by their furnace a tragic and completely unforeseen accident. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but they lost absolutely everything, their home, their belongings, and the memories that filled those walls. They now have to start completely from scratch. While we’re so grateful they’re safe, the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. They need help with immediate essentials like clothing, food, and temporary housing, as well as the long-term costs of rebuilding their lives. If you know my parents, you know how kind, hardworking, and giving they are. It’s incredibly hard for them to ask for help, but right now they truly need our community’s support.
