Hi everyone, my name is Jenna and I am the daughter raising funds for both of my parents. My mom was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast cancer over a year ago and my dad is on social security disability and suffers from health issues. He recently received positive results for a cancer screening and needs to go in for a colonoscopy. My mom still works in a factory, but with all the chemotherapy, surgeries, medications, etc., she is on short-term disability and not receiving a full paycheck. The medical bills are piling up and they are suffering.

We never lived a luxurious life and my parents have always been blue-collar workers. They are kind people that have always helped others in need. When I brought up the idea of a GoFundMe over a year ago, my dad was hesitant, as many of you might be. I'm sure it is hard to reach a point in your life where you need to ask for help. They have definitely reached that point and although as their children we try to help out financially as much as we can, it does not even scratch the surface of the piled-up medical bills. On top of that, their income relies on Social Security disability, and my mom is only receiving a partial check, so simple expenses like getting groceries have become extremely difficult.
