UPDATED STORY:  We are a group of English teachers from Paradise High School who are in touch with many of our students and their families since the #campfire.  They have lost their houses and most of their possessions.  We have three strategies:  1) gathering and delivering supplies to students in the Chico area, including Safeway gift cards, gas cards, blankets, cell phone chargers, etc., 2) taking students on shopping trips for clothes and other necessities, and 3) taking Amazon orders for students who have been displaced to areas further away from Butte County to be delivered to them.  100% of donations will be used to replace items that our students and their families lost in the wildfire.




Previous story:  For my birthday, please consider donating to the victims of the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA.   The entire town has burned down since yesterday, including our high school and the homes of my students and fellow teachers.  100% of the money will go to my loved ones in need.
