Hi everyone,

As you may have heard, my strong, beautiful brother Luis succumbed to Covid-19 on the Friday before Father’s Day and on his daughter’s 13th birthday. Luis was only 37 year old—much too young to leave this world, and much too needed.

Luis’s beautiful heart carries on in his two daughters, who he has been the primary caretaker of for the last several years, Luis and his girlfriend gave the girls a beautiful home filled with a lot of love and they were not prepared for him to be taken from it so soon.

A few days ago, my niece asked, “Am I going to be able to attend University?” And my heart broke yet again when I realized I couldn’t answer that question.

If you can spare it, I am raising money to help support my two nieces so that they will be able to participate in things like college or tackle any hardships they face along the way. They have gone through so much losing their father—after just 21 days in the hospital after contracting this awful virus. Anything you can do to help make their path a little smoother would be so appreciated.

Luis gave so much to everyone he met. I know he will rest a little easier knowing his two beautiful girls are being taken care of the best we can.
