Hey y’all, anyone living in or around Mt. Holly is likely aware of the devastating fire that occurred on Zander Court. I want to help clear up any rumors or misconceptions—this was my nieces’ and sister-in-law’s home. The fire was absolutely devastating. They lost everything. The only blessing in this tragedy is that they made it out safely and are currently staying with my family. My nieces are like my own daughters, and watching them walk away with nothing but the clothes they were wearing is truly heartbreaking. The fire department has confirmed this is a total loss.
As you can imagine, the emotional toll alone is overwhelming, and navigating the next steps—insurance, housing, basic necessities—will be a major hurdle in the weeks and months ahead. So many of you who know us personally have already reached out, and we are incredibly grateful. To help ease the immediate and ongoing stress for them, I am creating this GoFundMe so they can access support as they begin to rebuild their lives.
If you feel led and are able to donate, any amount helps and will go directly toward supporting them during this incredibly difficult season. More than anything, your prayers, love, and shares mean the world to us. Thank you, and God bless. A huge thank you to the Mount Holly Fire Department, GEMS, and all first responders who acted so quickly and ensured my nieces’ safety. We are forever grateful. We have faith that God will prevail through this situation, and we trust Him fully as we move forward together.
