Please Help Chloe on Her Long Road to Recovery Following A Truly Horrific Accident.
Hello, my name is Lee and I’m fundraising for my niece Chloe, from the UK, who last week was involved in a life-changing road accident in Melbourne Australia.

What Happened
On 12 November, our dear Chloe and her partner were involved in a catastrophic collision on the Princes Highway in Melbourne and whilst investigations remain ongoing, multiple witness statements have referenced that fault was that of the other driver involved.
You can read the news coverage here: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-11-12/princes-highway-crash-nambrok/105999934?utm_campaign=abc_news_web&utm_content=link&utm_medium=content_shared&utm_source=abc_news_web

Chloe’s Injuries
Sadly Chloe suffered many life changing injuries, including:
• Multiple breaks in both legs (fibula, tibia and femur Left & Right)
• A shattered and split pelvis
• Multiple broken bones in both feet
• Four broken ribs
• A collapsed lung
She has already undergone several emergency surgeries, with more still to come. Once she is stable, Chloe will hopefully be moved to Brisbane so she can recover closer to her Aunt, Uncle, & Cousins.
Alongside the physical trauma, the emotional and mental impact of the accident has been enormous.

The Situation for Chloe’s Mum
Chloe’s mum Louise flew from the UK to Australia within 24 hours of receiving the call — not knowing how severe the injuries were until she arrived.
Despite having her own medical condition, she made the journey without hesitation.
Louise is unable to stay at the hospital as it does not cater for immediate family accommodation and is currently living in an AirBNB, which is extremely expensive. Our family is supporting her as much as we can, but funds are running out. Without help, she may have to return home before Chloe can be transferred to Brisbane which for a mother I know will be deeply upsetting.

About Chloe
Chloe is an amazing Niece; so full of life, courage and kindness and is so very special to all of her family and friends. Chloe travelled to Australia in June 2024 to realise her dream of living life, experiencing new cultures and exploring an amazing country.
She has embraced every moment during her time away from the UK — travelling, working, making friends, discovering new places — and has met her partner, who is an ex-military serviceman from Australia. He too was also involved in the accident and was thrown from the vehicle upon impact. Fortunately his injuries were minor, and he managed to rescue Chloe from the wreckage after having witnessed smoke coming from the vehicle.
