On the 14th of August, a devastating barn fire took the lives of 7 beloved horses, including my niece’s horse, Denali. In just one night, she lost not only her best friend but also every piece of her tack, feed, and equipment she had collected.

For those who know her, McKenna’s horse wasn’t just an animal; she was her partner, her safe place, and her dream come true. They shared countless hours together, from long rides to quiet moments of comfort. Losing Denali has left a hole in her heart that can never truly be filled.

While we cannot bring Denali back, we are hoping to help her rebuild what was lost. The fire destroyed everything: saddles, bridles, grooming supplies, blankets, and so much more. These items are not just costly but essential if she is ever able to begin again in the future with another horse.
