Ola Nabeel and Maha Odah are Palestinian-Americans from Gaza living in the USA. For months, they have tried everything to help their family in Gaza. Ola's two nephews, Mahmoud and Aboud (Maha's cousins), both graduated high school this past summer of 2023. A few months after their family celebrated their exciting achievements, they have been left homeless, their universities destroyed, and they are trying to survive.

Their families have lost absolutely everything, unable to support their evacuation and schooling. If they are to have any shot at a future, they need to leave Gaza to study at a university in Egypt. It’s heartbreaking to leave home the way they, and so many others, are being forced to. We're asking for your help to give them a chance at life.

Unfortunately, individuals like Mahmoud and Aboud, who hold only a Palestinian passport without dual citizenship, are required to pay USD $5,000 per person to the Hala Company for securing an exit through the Rafah border into Egypt. This financial burden is impossible for them, as both Mahmoud and Aboud had to leave home without any of their belongings.
