My nephew is a 15-year-old Freshman in high school who has always been a standout both in the classroom and on the basketball court. He’s on the honor roll, incredibly respectful, and has a bright future ahead of him. Basketball has been his passion for as long as I can remember, and he’s worked hard to earn a spot on an elite traveling team this year.

His mom, who is raising him and other siblings on her own, is facing a tough situation. The costs for the basketball team are coming up quickly. With so many responsibilities and the economy being what it is, coming up with the funds on short notice is a real challenge. She wants nothing more than to see her son chase his dreams, but right now, the family needs a little extra help to make it happen.

This opportunity could open doors for my nephew and give him a real shot at something special.
