Help my nephew, Alex Glaser with medical bills
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My amazing nephew Alex Glaser, grandson of Jim Glaser, was in a horrific motorcycle accident in his hometown of Port Orchard, WA on Sept 29, 2021. He was turned into by a car, struck and thrown from the bike and into the ditch. The driver was uninsured.
Alex was taken to a hospital, had his 1st surgery and was then transferred to a different hospital better able to handle the severity of his injuries.
He’s so far had a total of 3 weeks in the hospital and 6 total surgeries. He will have to go back in for at least 1 more surgery and another 5 day hospital stay.
He will be in a back brace for 12 weeks, has a hand brace for 10 weeks and is in a wheelchair. They are saying it could be up to 18 months before he walks again and we are still uncertain, even with all these surgeries, that he will keep his right leg.
Alex worked for the Navy but will be unable to work until at least Feb or Mar of next year. His uninsured motorist coverage will only cover 100k of bills and he surpassed that after the first surgery, not to mention the loss of income for an extended period of time.
Please help our family help Alex through this extraordinarily difficult time and donate to help him pay medical bills and expenses through this long recovery.
