Help my Nanna save her best friend, Lexi
Donation protected
This is my Nanna’s dog, Lexi. She’s 11 years old now, and she truly means the world to my Nanna. Lexi is her best friend, her walking buddy, and honestly her reason to get up every day. Going out for walks with Lexi has helped my Nanna’s health so much, and the love they share is something really special.
My Nanna also struggles with dementia, and Lexi has been her constant comfort and companion through it all. Having Lexi by her side gives her stability, love, and purpose.
Unfortunately, Lexi now needs surgery. She has several growths on her body that need to be removed, and a couple have gotten really bad, they are paintful and keep opening into sores and put her at risk for infection. On top of that, she has an abscessed tooth that needs to come out. The vet recommended we do everything at once to keep her safe, but the cost is much more than my Nanna can manage. My Nanna lives on a very limited income and there’s just no way she can afford this on her own.
Helping Lexi means helping my Nanna keep the love and joy that gives her life so much meaning.
We just want to give Lexi the chance to live out her senior years healthy and happy, by my Nanna’s side where she belongs. Every little bit helps, whether it’s donating or even just sharing this page.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for helping us give Lexi the care she needs. It would mean the world to both her and my Nanna. ❤️
