Help my Mum with rehabilitation after stroke.

Hi, my name is Tom and I am raising funds for my mum. She is an amazing mum and grandmother who one week ago had a very serious medical emergency - a brain stroke. Amazing doctors from "John Paul II Hospital" in Krakow saved her life in a surgery that lasted over 6 hours. Unfortunately, she lost her independence in the process as she became paralyzed on her left side, and her best chance for recovery and regaining her independence is expensive, intensive rehabilitation over the coming months - and it is needed immediately.

There is a queue for state-funded programs and it is funded only for up to 12 weeks. Private rehabilitation cost starts from £2.5k a month. While we can bear some of the costs, we wouldn't be able to provide everything that is needed. Part of these funds will be used for the adaptation of living accommodations and medical/disability equipment. Thank you for your generosity.
