Hi, my name is Charlize and I’m fundraising for my mum to help her restart her photography business up again so she can support our family, Doing what she loves most.

My mum has always had a passion for photography. She’s the one who’s always behind the camera, capturing everyone else’s special moments – birthdays, weddings, newborns, and all the little milestones in between. For a long time, her being behind the lens allowed her to do what she loves most while also being able to help support our big family over the years.

Unfortunately, due to Covid, like so many families, we faced challenges we never expected. To help us move and keep our family stable, my mum then had to make a huge sacrifice by selling her camera equipment, and of course she did it without hesitation, despite how much love and passion she has for capturing special moments behind the lens. Losing that income has been really hard on our family, and it’s also been heartbreaking watching her lose confidence in something she’s so talented at.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to help my mum get back on her feet and pick the camera up again.

The money raised will go towards:

• Replacing and upgrading her photography equipment (camera, lenses)

My mum is not the type of person who likes to ask for help, but she has always done everything she can for us. So I want to do something for her now and give her a real chance to rebuild her business and support our family doing what she loves.
